Held in His Faithful Hands

Crossing into 2026

As 2025 draws to a close, my heart overflows with gratitude to God for faithfully carrying my family and me through another year in safety and good health. In every moment, His grace has sustained us, and He alone is worthy of all praise. Among His many blessings, I am especially thankful for the doors He opened for me to return to serving in church – doors that gently stretched me beyond my comfort zone and reminded me anew that His ways are higher than my own, and that His purposes are always good.

Through this journey, the Lord has once again impressed upon my heart a simple yet powerful truth: He does not call the equipped; He equips those He calls. Each time I step forward in obedience and say “yes” to Him, He meets me with His presence and strength, providing all that is needed to walk the path He has prepared to fulfil His purposes.

Serving Him is both a privilege and a joy. Yet there are moments when I feel anxious and inadequate, unsure of my ability to fulfil what He has entrusted to me. And in His tenderness, He reassures me that He who began a good work in me will be faithful to bring it to completion – in His ways and for His glory. Anchored in this promise, I took my first step of faith into a new ministry, trusting that the same God who has guided me through every season before will continue to lead me with steadfast love.

Looking back, I see the steady faithfulness of God – how He has guided, sustained and strengthened me, even in moments of inadequacy. As I step into the season ahead, I do so with a heart that is still learning and a posture of daily surrender, trusting fully in His unfailing faithfulness. My prayer is simple: to walk in obedience and trust, one step at a time; to remain attentive to His leading, humble in spirit, and faithful in the small things. May He continue to shape my heart, refine my character, and use me according to His will.

Comforted by the assurance that His grace is sufficient for every step, I move forward with quiet confidence – holding fast to His promises, choosing obedience over certainty, and trusting that He who has been faithful before will remain faithful still, for His glory and for the building up of His church. And so, I rest my heart in His faithfulness, walking quietly with Him, trusting that each step, however small, is held securely in His hands.

“Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20–21 (ESV)

Wishing you a blessed and joyful 2026, held in His faithful hands!
