God has a plan for everything it seems
A plan for us although at times
it’s difficult to believe
Sometimes things happen that we don’t understand
and our hearts may fill with sadness
too painful to withstand
Sometimes life changes so very quick
and it’s difficult to see that when
something ends new things begin
Because it’s all part of God’s plan
A plan that’s not known by you or me
but it takes us where we are meant to be
I can’t recall where I found this poem or who wrote it, but one thing is certain – it speaks straight to my heart. It’s a beautiful reminder that God is in control, and that assurance is enough for me.
